April Meeting Tomorrow Evening April 18th

Just a reminder that our last meeting for the 2016-2017 Season is upon us.  It will be tomorrow evening, Tuesday April 18th at 7pm at the Erie Elks Lodge located at 2409 Peninsula Drive, Erie PA.  Sara Stahlman from the PA Sea Grant is scheduled to talk on invasive species and aquatic hitchikers.

The F3T program in February was another success and a fun night was had by all.

Also a reminder the chapter is looking for interested youth ages 14-17 for the PA Fly Fishing Rivers Conservation Camp to be held this summer.  Anyone with an interest can contact Erik Cronk at 490-4632.

Also on the agenda for this months meeting is discussion on a possible stream improvment project for a local wild brown trout stream in Erie County.  Intrigued?  Then you need to attend tomorrows meeting for more information!  I personally feel this is something the chapter NEEDS to do at this point in time, as prior projects like this have always had high turnouts and increased chapter moral and activity amongst the members.  And with this stream being close by, it makes even more sense to do so.
